RAFFIA BRAID
Handle with Care – Not to be flat packed
Raffia Braid is a hand-woven, natural fibre. These hats have a casual aesthetic and a certain amount of informality in shape can be expected over time. They should not be packed flat into a suitcase for travel. If your hat develops some creasing, a warm iron, gently applied, will improve its finish. We do not recommend getting your Raffia hat wet, if you do pat it dry with a towel. Whilst the hat is drying use your hands to reform the hat to its original shape.

AUSTRALIAN WOOL FELT
Handle with Care – Not to be flat packed
Made from Australian Wool felt, our wool felt hats should be handled with care and not be packed flat inside a suitcase for travel.
Felt hats should not be dry cleaned or washed.
To remove dust and loose dirt, gently brush your wool felt hat with a soft-bristled hat brush, moving in the same direction around the hat. Use long gentle strokes and do not brush to hard or you may damage the felt. You can also use a lint roller.
For stains, use a damp cloth and dab gently, avoid circular motions, this can damage the felt.
If your felt hat gets wet, shake off excess water, place on a hat stand or stuff crown with colourless tissue paper so the crown is supported. Allow to air dry naturally. Do not use heat to speed up drying process as this will shrink the felt.
Storing Hats
We recommend storing your hat in our hat boxes. This will keep your hat clean and preserve its shape. Alternatively, store it on a flat surface and avoid hanging it on the wall to prolong your hat's life. We recommend handling your hat by the brim and not the crown as this can lead to indentations and misshaping.
